This is a rare opportunity to work with a globally recognized firm known for precision, innovation, and excellence in large-scale infrastructure and building developments.
As an M&E Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing mechanical and electrical systems for high-profile projects in Bali’s booming construction sector. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with international standards while delivering cutting-edge solutions tailored to tropical and urban environments.

This role offers competitive compensation, career growth, and the chance to work with advanced Japanese engineering methodologies.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and review M&E systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection) for construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international codes (e.g., SNI, JIS).
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to integrate M&E systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Prepare and evaluate technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for tenders and procurement.
- Oversee M&E installation, testing, and commissioning on-site, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for M&E-related project challenges.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to obtain approvals and resolve technical queries.
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and recommend improvements for efficiency and sustainability.
- Stay updated on emerging M&E technologies (e.g., smart building systems, renewable energy integration) and propose innovations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E engineering for construction, preferably with a main contractor or consultancy firm.
- Proven track record in large-scale projects (commercial, residential, or hospitality sectors).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or similar design software. BIM experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations (SNI) and familiarity with Japanese standards (JIS) is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (Japanese language skills are a bonus).
- PMP, PE (Professional Engineer), or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and work on-site as required.
