Join People Profilers in collaboration with a top-tier A1 Main Contractor in Bali, seeking a highly skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer with a PE Board-recognized degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. As an M&E Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing mechanical and electrical systems for large-scale construction projects. Your expertise will ensure compliance with industry standards, efficiency in system performance, and seamless project execution from planning to completion.
Based in the vibrant Badung region (covering Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Kuta), this role offers a competitive remuneration package of up to $6,500/month, along with professional growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and review M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and low-voltage systems for construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to integrate M&E systems into overall project plans.
- Prepare and submit detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications in compliance with local and international standards (e.g., PEB, IES, NEC).
- Conduct site inspections and supervise M&E installations to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Perform load calculations, energy efficiency assessments, and system optimization to enhance performance and sustainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure all M&E works comply with regulatory requirements, building codes, and client specifications.
- Prepare progress reports, cost estimates, and risk assessments for M&E components of projects.
Qualifications
- Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a PE Board-recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E engineering for construction, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor or large-scale projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or similar design software.
- In-depth knowledge of M&E codes, standards (e.g., BS, IEC, NFPA), and local regulations in Indonesia.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to project sites in Badung, Bali as required.
