Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Lead safety training and awareness initiatives for employees, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a culture of safety across all operational sites in Bali.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS best practices into daily operations, project planning, and emergency response protocols.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, including incident rates, near-misses, and compliance status, to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of EHS-related activities, including permits, licenses, and regulatory submissions.
- Stay updated on evolving EHS regulations, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our safety and environmental programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. A masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the energy, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian EHS regulations, as well as international standards such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver training and presentations to diverse audiences.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software (e.g., SAP EHS, Intelex).
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; additional languages are a plus.
