Responsibility
- Design, develop, and review M&E system layouts, schematics, and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and local codes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to M&E systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate M&E systems into overall project plans.
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and maintenance logs.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, providing cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable practices in M&E engineering.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent; Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field is a plus.
- Proven 1+ year of experience in M&E engineering, preferably in construction, building services, or facility management.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate effectively with multicultural teams.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, fire protection, electrical wiring, and automation.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (work permit assistance provided for eligible candidates).
