Responsibility
- Design, develop, and review electrical and mechanical system layouts, schematics, and technical drawings using CAD/BIM software.
- Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning of M&E systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess technical requirements and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate M&E systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation of electrical installations (e.g., lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems).
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and sustainability standards (e.g., LEED, Green Building).
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and maintenance protocols for M&E infrastructure.
- Provide on-site supervision and technical guidance to subcontractors and junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., P.Eng, PE) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E engineering, with a focus on building services, industrial projects, or infrastructure.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or similar design and simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (LV/MV distribution, generators, UPS) and mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
- Experience with project management (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and familiarity with BIM workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and work on-site for contract-based projects.
