Responsibility
- Prepare detailed mechanical and electrical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, etc.) for building and infrastructure projects.
- Modify and update existing drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and clients.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure drawings align with project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., SNI, NFPA, ASHRAE).
- Develop schematics, layouts, and as-built drawings for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of bill of materials (BOM) and cost estimates for M&E components.
- Maintain organized digital files and version control for all project documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in M&E drafting.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in M&E drafting for building or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar CAD software (certification is a plus).
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
- Familiarity with local and international building codes (e.g., SNI, IBC, NEC).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
