Perunding Meset SDN.BHD. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Clerk of Works to join our dynamic construction team in Badung, Bali. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in M&E installations across our prestigious projects.
As an M&E Clerk of Works, you will act as the client’s representative on-site, overseeing contractors to ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems meet design specifications, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the exacting standards our clients expect.

Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor M&E installations, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions from contractors.
- Identify and report defects, non-compliance issues, or deviations from design, and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and progress reports for client and internal stakeholders.
- Verify that all M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) are installed, tested, and commissioned as per project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on-site.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff and subcontractors as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an M&E Clerk of Works, Site Engineer, or similar role in construction.
- In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, building codes, and industry standards (e.g., SNI, PUIL, NFPA).
- Proven experience in site supervision, quality control, and defect management for large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, tender documentation, and project management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
