Responsibility
- Create detailed mechanical and electrical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit).
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and requirements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, layouts, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI) and local regulations.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and quality assurance teams.
- Assist in project planning by estimating timelines and resource needs for drafting tasks.
- Organize and archive project records for easy retrieval and future reference.
- Stay updated on the latest drafting technologies and best practices to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical/electrical drafting, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or consulting.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar).
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, including orthographic projections and dimensioning.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI, or local codes) for engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
