Responsibility
- Develop detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems using Revit MEP and other industry-standard software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure model accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues between MEP systems and structural/architectural elements.
- Generate and maintain BIM execution plans (BEP) and adhere to project standards and protocols.
- Produce shop drawings, as-built models, and construction documentation from BIM data.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and support cost estimation using BIM tools.
- Stay updated with BIM industry trends, software advancements, and best practices.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize MEP system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E BIM modeling, preferably in construction or consulting.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (experience with BIM 360 is a plus).
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical layouts.
- Familiarity with BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, AIA Layering) and local/regional building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in model accuracy.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
