Responsibility
- Develop and refine mechanical designs using SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical insights to optimize product performance and manufacturability.
- Create and maintain documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and technical reports.
- Perform simulations and analyses to validate design integrity and identify potential improvements.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and SolidWorks to enhance design capabilities.
- Support project timelines by delivering high-quality designs within specified deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in mechanical design, with a strong portfolio showcasing SolidWorks proficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with design validation, testing, and prototyping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASME).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
