In this role, you will play a critical part in the design and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, with a focus on air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV). You will prepare precise shop drawings, detail drawings, and as-built documentation while supporting BIM (Building Information Modeling) MEP modeling to ensure seamless project coordination. Responsibility
- Prepare accurate and detailed ACMV shop drawings, detail drawings, and as-built drawings for construction projects in compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Support BIM MEP modeling to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into 3D models.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to review and revise drawings, incorporating feedback and resolving design conflicts.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission of drawings and documentation, adhering to project deadlines.
- Perform quality checks on drawings to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, material schedules, and other project documentation as required.
- Maintain organized digital archives of drawings and revisions using project management software.
- Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in MEP drafting and BIM technology.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in MEP drafting, with a focus on ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, ArchiCAD) is essential.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction drawings, and building codes in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Experience with shop drawings, detail drawings, and as-built documentation in construction projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, error-free drawings under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction standards and regulations is a plus.
