Responsibility
- Develop and maintain high-quality BIM models for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate M&E designs into comprehensive BIM models, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and rectify conflicts between M&E systems and other building components.
- Generate detailed 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and construction documentation from BIM models for project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and project-specific requirements in all BIM deliverables.
- Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings to provide technical insights and support project teams.
- Optimize BIM workflows and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration across projects.
- Maintain and update BIM libraries, templates, and standards to ensure consistency and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BIM Modeller, with a focus on M&E systems.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit (M&E), AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
- Experience with clash detection and resolution using tools like Navisworks or BIM 360.
- Familiarity with local building codes and standards (e.g., Singapore’s BCA or international equivalents).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and efficient BIM modeling.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively in a flexible work environment.
