Responsibility
- Develop and refine mechanical designs for industrial machinery using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate design performance.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.
- Optimize existing designs for cost efficiency, manufacturability, and durability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during production and implementation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering.
- Support project timelines by adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality outputs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; licensed engineer is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in industrial machinery or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and 3D modeling.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
