Responsibility
- Design and develop mechanical components for industrial automation devices, including relays and power supplies, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with electrical and software engineering teams to integrate mechanical designs with electronic systems for seamless functionality.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototyping to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
- Perform thermal, structural, and vibration analysis to ensure reliability and durability of mechanical components under operational conditions.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Support manufacturing teams in resolving production issues, improving assembly processes, and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvements based on team input.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in mechanical engineering and industrial automation to drive innovation in product development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in electronics or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
- Strong understanding of thermal management, material selection, and manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal fabrication).
- Experience with relays, power supplies, or automation devices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
