Responsibility
- Perform systematic troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies and automation modules.
- Execute rigorous testing protocols to validate machine functionality against engineering specifications.
- Perform fine-tuning and calibration of sensors, actuators, and mechanical drive systems.
- Collaborate with design engineers to identify root causes of machine failures and implement effective corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed debug logs and generate performance reports for project stakeholders.
- Support the assembly team during the integration phase to ensure seamless machine operation.
- Ensure all safety standards and operational protocols are strictly followed during the debugging process.
- Optimize machine cycle times and throughput to exceed production efficiency targets.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical debugging or machine assembly.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
- Solid understanding of automation components such as pneumatics, motors, sensors, and gearboxes.
- Experience using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication skills to relay technical issues to non-technical staff or senior management.
- Adaptable to a dynamic production schedule and capable of working in a contract-based capacity.
