Responsibility
- Design and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
- Foster a student-centered classroom environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain comprehensive academic records.
- Develop and implement differentiated instruction strategies to support learners of varying abilities.
- Collaborate with the mathematics department to curate and refine curriculum materials and assessments.
- Prepare students effectively for internal examinations and official Cambridge qualification assessments.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student academic performance and behavioral growth.
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities and school-wide initiatives to support the overall mission of Tunas Tuju Asa.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional teaching experience within an IGCSE or international school setting.
- Fluency in English is essential; ability to speak Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical best practices in secondary mathematics.
- Proven ability to manage diverse classroom dynamics effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
