Responsibility
- Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in Mathematics and Accounting for secondary or high school students.
- Assess student performance through exams, projects, and continuous evaluation, providing constructive feedback.
- Create interactive learning materials (e.g., worksheets, digital resources) to enhance comprehension and retention.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align teaching strategies and share best practices for student success.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with families regarding academic progress.
- Integrate real-world applications of Mathematics and Accounting (e.g., financial literacy, data analysis) into lessons.
- Support extracurricular activities, such as math clubs or business competitions, to foster student engagement.
- Stay updated on educational trends and incorporate innovative teaching methods (e.g., gamification, flipped classrooms).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, TESOL, or local equivalent) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics/Accounting, preferably in an international or bilingual school.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills to engage diverse student groups.
- Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom, educational software) for hybrid/online teaching.
- Passion for student-centered learning and ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (visa sponsorship may be provided for qualified candidates).
