Responsibility
- Lead and mentor the Purchasing Team, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize supplier selection, cost savings, and material availability.
- Oversee supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations to maintain high-quality standards.
- Drive operational improvements in procurement processes, inventory control, and demand forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Finance) to ensure seamless material flow and cost efficiency.
- Monitor supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Analyze KPIs and data insights to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain leadership, preferably in manufacturing or electronics.
- Proven track record in supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities to engage with internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
