Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end material procurement projects, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring alignment with production timelines and budget constraints.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to negotiate contracts, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor and analyze material demand forecasts, adjusting procurement plans to meet fluctuating market and operational needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics, warehousing, and distribution to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies in all material-related processes.
- Utilize ERP systems and data analytics tools to track KPIs, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Mitigate supply chain risks by identifying potential disruptions and developing contingency plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Proven track record of project management in a fast-paced, global environment, with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, demand planning, and supplier negotiation techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or PMP are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a multicultural team.
