Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize materials planning processes to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze demand forecasts, adjusting plans to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the materials planning team to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and operational resilience.
- Utilize ERP systems and data analytics to enhance decision-making and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Proven leadership experience in supervising teams within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
