As a Machinery Mechanic, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, and forklifts. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our equipment, supporting clients in construction, logistics, and manufacturing sectors. With a valid Singapore (SG) Driving License, you’ll also assist in equipment transportation and on-site service calls when needed.

Responsibility
- Perform diagnostic tests on heavy machinery to identify mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment longevity and compliance with safety standards.
- Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Operate and transport heavy machinery to client sites as required (SG Driving License mandatory).
- Collaborate with the workshop team to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Uphold workshop housekeeping standards, including tool organization and waste disposal.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior mechanics and apprentices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Heavy Machinery Mechanic or similar role.
- Valid Singapore (SG) Driving License (Class 3 or higher) is mandatory.
- Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, pressure gauges) and workshop equipment.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy parts and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining digital service logs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
