Responsibility
- Monitor and track inventory levels of construction materials to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including purchase orders, delivery receipts, and stock reports.
- Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Assist in the preparation of logistics schedules and material requisition plans.
- Liaise with project managers to prioritize material allocations based on project timelines.
- Implement and maintain an organized storage system for materials to optimize space and accessibility.
- Generate reports on inventory status, material usage, and logistics performance for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or a related field (construction materials preferred).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Basic understanding of supply chain principles and procurement processes.
