Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment for hotel operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure stock levels meet operational demands.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitor and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt and distribution of materials.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast material needs and budget requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations regarding procurement and inventory management.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders, invoices, and deliveries promptly and professionally.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or materials handling, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations is a plus.
