Responsibility
- Develop and maintain material requirement plans (MRP) to align with production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to minimize excess stock while ensuring material availability.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to streamline supply chain operations.
- Utilize SAP or equivalent ERP systems to track material movements, generate reports, and analyze data.
- Identify and resolve material shortages or delays by coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct demand planning and adjust forecasts based on market trends and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in material handling and storage.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives by evaluating supplier performance and negotiating contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain roles.
- Proven experience with SAP MM/PP modules or other ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Industry background in Oil & Gas, Aviation, Offshore Marine, or Semiconductor is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or demand planning tools is a plus.
