Responsibility
- Develop and execute inventory planning strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess or shortages.
- Monitor and analyze demand forecasts, adjusting procurement plans to align with production schedules and market trends.
- Coordinate with suppliers, negotiators, and logistics teams to secure timely material deliveries and resolve supply chain disruptions.
- Implement stock control measures, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and safety stock calculations to enhance inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to align material requirements with budgetary constraints and business objectives.
- Utilize ERP or inventory management software to track material movements, generate reports, and identify areas for process improvement.
- Assess supplier performance, lead times, and cost efficiency to recommend strategic partnerships and contract negotiations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with lean inventory principles, Just-in-Time (JIT), and demand planning tools is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
