Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to optimize space utilization and workflow.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and reporting.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and distribution teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor and maintain health, safety, and security standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, orders, and shipments.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of cumulative experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, contract logistics, retail warehousing, or inventory management.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and lean warehouse methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
