Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate material demand forecasts based on production schedules, sales orders, and historical data.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective material procurement while optimizing inventory levels.
- Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, stock levels, and obsolescence to minimize waste and reduce carrying costs.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to align material availability with production schedules and delivery timelines.
- Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks, including shortages, delays, or excess inventory, to ensure smooth operations.
- Generate and analyze reports on material usage, lead times, and supplier performance to support data-driven decision-making.
- Implement and maintain ERP/MRP systems to track material movements, orders, and inventory accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus but not required.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
