Responsibility
- Develop and maintain material requirement plans to ensure optimal inventory levels across all locations.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, adjusting plans to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials cost-effectively while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to align material availability with demand forecasts.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track material usage and reorder points.
- Generate reports on material usage, inventory turnover, and procurement performance for management review.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency in material handling and storage.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to material procurement and storage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or F&B industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and cost management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory tracking tools is a plus.
