Responsibility
- Develop and maintain material requirements plans to support production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid shortages.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, lead times, and pricing.
- Analyze demand forecasts and adjust material plans accordingly.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize material flow.
- Identify and resolve material shortages or excesses to minimize costs.
- Generate reports on material usage, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronics manufacturing is advantageous.
