Responsibility
- Develop and maintain material planning strategies to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to align material requirements with business goals.
- Analyze demand forecasts and adjust material plans to meet changing production needs.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives by optimizing inventory turnover and reducing waste.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material planning and inventory management.
- Resolve material-related issues and escalate critical concerns to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in material handling and storage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
