Responsibility
- Prepare and kit materials according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and timely delivery of materials to the production line.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and engineering teams to support equipment and material needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Perform quality checks on materials to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of material handling procedures.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies in material quantities or quality.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material kitting processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in material handling, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
