Responsibility
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move, load, unload, and transport materials and products.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products, ensuring accurate documentation and proper storage.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain inventory records and perform regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping and receiving documents.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or material handling is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Worker, or similar role.
- Familiarity with material handling equipment and warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects; physical stamina and strength are required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a warehouse environment.
