Are you a seasoned Manufacturing Workshop Manager looking to lead high-impact operations in the vibrant heart of Bali? Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking organization, is seeking a strategic leader to oversee and optimize workshop activities in one of Southeast Asia’s most rapidly growing industrial hubs.
In this pivotal role, you will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and lead a motivated team to achieve production targets. Based in Bali’s key business districts—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you’ll have the opportunity to shape manufacturing processes while contributing to the region’s economic growth.
This position offers a competitive salary package of IDR 40M–50M per month, commensurate with experience, along with the chance to work in a culturally rich and professionally rewarding environment.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient production workflows and adherence to deadlines.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Lead, mentor, and train a diverse team of technicians, operators, and supervisors to maintain high performance standards.
- Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE) to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with procurement teams, and manage supplier relationships to avoid production delays.
- Prepare and present regular reports on workshop performance, KPIs, and budget adherence to senior management.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in manufacturing workshop management, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control (QC), and lean manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Certifications in Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or OSHA are highly advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or already based in the target locations.
