Responsibility
- Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or excess stock.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms, place purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., warehouse, finance, production) to align inventory and procurement activities with business needs.
- Prepare and analyze reports on inventory turnover, procurement spend, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance supply chain operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of purchasing best practices, cost control, and vendor management.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
