Responsibility
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize shortages or excesses.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to facilitate timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the production team to align material availability with production schedules.
- Generate reports on inventory status, usage trends, and forecasted material requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to material handling and storage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory control, material management, or a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Mandarin preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to material handling.
