Responsibility
- Manage and monitor material flow to ensure uninterrupted supply for production and logistics operations.
- Develop and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to prevent discrepancies.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align material availability with operational demands.
- Implement inventory control strategies to minimize excess stock, reduce waste, and optimize storage costs.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Analyze demand forecasts and production schedules to plan material requirements effectively.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supply-related issues.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, material usage, and supply chain performance for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in material control, inventory management, or supply chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and just-in-time (JIT) inventory practices is a plus.
