Responsibility

  • Prepare and craft high-quality, handmade dumplings using traditional techniques and premium ingredients.
  • Conduct engaging live demonstrations of dumpling-making for guests, explaining the process, history, and cultural significance.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes across all dumpling varieties.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dumpling recipes and seasonal specialties.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Interact with customers, answering questions and providing insights into the art of dumpling-making.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and coordinate with procurement as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior staff or apprentices in dumpling preparation and presentation techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Dumpling Specialist, Chef, or in a similar culinary role, with a focus on handmade dumplings.
  • Deep knowledge of traditional Chinese dumpling-making techniques, including folding, pleating, and filling preparation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
