Responsibility
- Execute and monitor trade settlements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with market standards and internal policies.
- Perform daily reconciliation of transactions, resolving discrepancies and escalating issues as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading desks, custody, and client services, to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Maintain and update operational procedures, documentation, and workflows to comply with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Analyze market data and trends to identify risks, inefficiencies, or opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide exceptional client service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering proactive updates on trade statuses.
- Participate in system enhancements and automation initiatives to optimize operational workflows.
- Stay current with industry developments, regulatory changes, and internal policies affecting markets operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in markets operations, trade settlement, or financial services, preferably in a global banking environment.
- Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, derivatives, or foreign exchange markets and their operational lifecycle.
- Proficiency in trade processing systems (e.g., Omgeo, DTCC, or proprietary platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity and collaboration with global teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
