Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third-party vendors and service providers to identify potential operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize exposure to third-party risks.
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and emerging risks in the third-party ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including compliance, legal, and procurement teams, to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Perform due diligence on new and existing third-party relationships, including contract reviews and risk scoring.
- Support the design and enhancement of TPRM frameworks, policies, and procedures to align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present risk assessment reports and recommendations to senior management and risk committees.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging risks affecting third-party relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, PRM, CIA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, or third-party risk management within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, MAS guidelines, or other relevant financial regulations.
- Proficient in risk assessment methodologies, including risk scoring, control testing, and scenario analysis.
- Experience with TPRM tools and platforms (e.g., MetricStream, RSA Archer, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
