Responsibility
- Evaluate credit applications by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to determine creditworthiness.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential financial risks and recommend appropriate credit limits.
- Prepare detailed credit assessment reports and present findings to management for approval.
- Maintain accurate records of credit evaluations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with clients to gather additional information or clarify discrepancies in credit applications.
- Monitor existing credit accounts to identify changes in financial status and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to provide insights on credit decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit assessment practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in credit analysis, financial evaluation, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess risk accurately.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools for credit assessment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
