As a Market Development Surveyor, you will conduct field surveys in high-traffic areas such as Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, and other key locations in Bali. Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive market surveys to assess the distribution and sales performance of tobacco products in assigned areas.
- Collect and analyze data from retail outlets, including warungs, minimarkets, and convenience stores.
- Identify trends in consumer purchasing behavior and competitor activities.
- Maintain accurate records of outlet visits, inventory levels, and promotional displays.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve product visibility and sales.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations during field operations.
- Submit detailed reports on survey findings and market conditions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in market research, retail, or field sales is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with outlet owners and staff.
- Proficiency in data collection tools and basic analytics.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Bali’s retail landscape and local business practices.
- Ownership of a motorcycle and a valid driver’s license for field mobility.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
