Responsibility
- Conduct field surveys to assess the distribution and sales performance of tobacco products in assigned retail outlets (e.g., convenience stores, warungs, minimarkets).
- Collect and record accurate data on product availability, pricing, promotions, and competitor activities.
- Map retail outlets and update databases with location details, contact information, and operational insights.
- Analyze survey findings to identify market trends, gaps, and opportunities for product placement.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to provide actionable recommendations based on field observations.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and ethical standards during data collection.
- Submit detailed reports and visual documentation (e.g., photos, notes) to support market analysis.
- Maintain professional relationships with retail partners while conducting surveys.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in business, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
- Prior experience in market research, retail audits, or field surveys is advantageous.
- Strong observational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with retail staff.
- Proficiency in basic data entry and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a part-time capacity.
- Familiarity with Bali’s retail landscape and local business practices is preferred.
- Ownership of a motorcycle and a valid driver’s license for field mobility.
