Responsibility
- Oversee daily marine operations, ensuring compliance with international maritime laws and company policies.
- Coordinate with vessel crews, port authorities, and logistics teams to optimize shipping schedules and routes.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain vessel safety, security, and environmental standards.
- Manage crew performance, training, and certification to ensure operational excellence.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and safety protocols for marine operations.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve service delivery.
- Monitor and report on vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and maintenance requirements.
- Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Valid STCW certification and relevant maritime licenses.
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and operational logistics in a high-pressure environment.
- Familiarity with LNG transportation and handling procedures is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required by operational needs.
