Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments of marine spare parts and equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to optimize shipping routes, costs, and transit times.
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and provide proactive updates to stakeholders on any delays or issues.
- Manage inventory levels of spare parts, coordinating with warehouses to ensure accurate stock records and timely replenishment.
- Resolve logistics-related discrepancies, such as damaged or missing shipments, by investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to align logistics operations with business demands and customer requirements.
- Maintain organized records of all logistics activities, including shipping costs, delivery times, and vendor performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the marine, shipping, or industrial spare parts sector.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with maritime industry standards and experience handling hazardous or oversized cargo is advantageous.
