Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of hydraulic and PLC-controlled pumping systems onboard vessels.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in marine hydraulic and automation systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Collaborate with vessel crews and engineering teams to implement system upgrades and improvements.
- Document all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to onboard personnel on system operations and maintenance.
- Ensure all work adheres to maritime safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Stay updated with advancements in marine hydraulic and PLC technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marine hydraulic systems and PLC programming.
- Strong knowledge of maritime safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
