Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems in compliance with project specifications, industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME), and local regulations.
- Conduct inspections and audits of M&E installations, materials, and equipment to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including QA/QC reports, test certificates, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to identify and resolve quality issues proactively.
- Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for deviations and deficiencies identified during inspections.
- Provide technical guidance to on-site teams on best practices for M&E system installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data and recommending process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CQI, IRCA, or PMP) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC for M&E systems, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of international quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, IEC) and local regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience with inspection tools, testing equipment, and quality management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural environments and adapt to changing project demands.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is advantageous.
