Responsibility
- Oversee the daily maintenance and operational readiness of all hospitality facilities on board, including dining areas, lounges, and guest cabins.
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety, hygiene, and service standards in all hospitality operations.
- Lead, train, and motivate a multicultural team of hospitality staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Coordinate with marine operations to align hospitality services with voyage schedules and guest expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels of linens, amenities, and supplies, ensuring timely restocking and cost-effective procurement.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Develop and implement service improvement initiatives based on guest feedback and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records of facility usage, maintenance logs, and service performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a marine or luxury resort setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
- Knowledge of maritime safety protocols and hospitality service standards (STCW certification is a advantage).
- Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management, budgeting, and cost-control practices.
