Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized customer service, addressing inquiries and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including countertops, tables, and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and product knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., coffee bags, milk crates).
- A passion for coffee culture and a desire to learn and grow in the role.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Bahasa) are advantageous.
