As part of our elite engineering team, you will collaborate closely with Fleet Operations to diagnose, repair, and enhance critical machinery, while performing precision machining, welding, and advanced technical troubleshooting. Your work will directly contribute to the seamless operation of PSA Marine’s fleet, supporting trade, logistics, and coastal infrastructure across Bali’s bustling ports.

Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on harbour craft machinery, including engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in marine vessels, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Coordinate with Fleet Operations to prioritize repair tasks, schedule maintenance, and align engineering activities with operational needs.
- Execute precision machining, welding, and fabrication tasks to repair or replace damaged components.
- Conduct technical inspections and compliance checks to adhere to maritime safety and regulatory standards (e.g., SOLAS, IMO).
- Maintain accurate logbooks, maintenance records, and technical documentation for audit and reference purposes.
- Assist in the procurement and inventory management of spare parts, tools, and engineering supplies.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in marine vessel maintenance, harbour craft engineering, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, and marine propulsion.
- Certification in welding (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc) and machining is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with maritime safety protocols (e.g., ISM Code, ISO standards) and regulatory compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call duties as required.
