As our Service Champion, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced CNC machines. Note: This position requires frequent travel within Indonesia and occasional trips to other Southeast Asian countries.
Responsibility
- Install, commission, and calibrate Hurco CNC Machining Centers and Lathes at client sites across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, including training on machine operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and provide feedback for product improvements.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation for all service activities using Hurco’s digital tools.
- Adhere to safety standards and best practices while working in diverse industrial environments.
- Stay updated on the latest CNC technologies, software updates, and industry trends through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing, repairing, or maintaining CNC machines (Hurco experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components in CNC machinery.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and machine manuals.
- Familiarity with CNC control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or Hurco WinMax) and basic programming (G-code).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written); additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
